Has anyone gone through the UK10K dataset and mined for Y-DNA data? I note where the Dataset can be found online at: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ega/datasets But I have no idea how to access any of the data, say nothing about the skills to mine the Y-DNA data.

I would think there would be a treasure trove of data in this project, but I may be completely off.

I am a co-admin for the R-U106 Haplogroup Project, and I am personally looking for folks who are U106+ from this study and to see how far down they can be traced.

If it can be done, I bet we have some folks here with the computer skills to accomplish it. I'm interested in that, as well, for my own particular clade under DF41/CTS2501 to see if it pops up where I think it should.

I had also queried some folks privately on this issue, and received the following reply from someone.

Hi Ray,
I just e-mailed Andy about this...The current plan is get a draft manuscript and phylogeny onto bioRxiv by the end of April.
