View Full Version : Does Europe East DNA necessarily indicate Jewish ancestry?

I ask this because I got 3% Europe East DNA in my results, but no European Jewish. However, when I look at the range underneath my 0% European Jewish result, it shows it could be anywhere from 0-1%. I also have several third cousins who have tested as Jewish, both significantly and in trace amounts. I'm just curious to know if this is a possible indication of Jewish ancestry for me.

Europe East indicates Balto-Slavic ancestry, not Jewish.
