A Belarusian matrilineage in my project belongs to haplogroup L0a1. Unfortunately, only HVR1+HVR2 have been tested (and, of course, the usual 22-odd locations of FTDNA's mtDNA backbone test). The project member has no mtDNA matches at all, at either level. James Lick's mtDNA predictor (https://dna.jameslick.com/mthap/) predicts L0a1a(A200G).

Reportedly, Geno 2.0 found two members of L0a1a2 of Belarusian ancestry (http://haplogroup.org/mtdna/rsrs/l0/l0abfgk/l0abfg/l0abg/l0ag/l0a/l0a1/l0a1a/l0a1a2/). Other L0a1a2 members had very different origins.
