I just sent in my kit last Monday and was wondering how long does it take to say kit received? I live in the USA. I noticed it was going somewhere in Kentucky I think. I live in Florida.

Mine took two weeks to show as received. It then took one month and five days to show "Testing". It has now been on "Testing" for five weeks.

There is thread on here about the "Living DNA waiting game..."

I sent mine in from the USA. Ordered 25 Nov 2016. Delivered to Kentucky 5 Dec 2016. Received at the lab 21 Dec 2016 (I think it's in Denmark). Testing started 4 Jan 2017. Results available 11 Mar 2017.

It came with a prepaid USPS label. I was able to use that to track it to Kentucky. I didn't get any notification from LivingDNA at that point. LivingDNA sent me an email when it got to their lab. I think the location in Kentucky is probably a consolidation point for shipping US orders.

Oh I didn't notice this tracking number on it. I wish I did because then I would know if they received it.

All three of mine kits are activated 21/04/2017. How long until the kits will be received and start to be tested?

I activated and mailed in my kit from Canada on May 9 and received a "Samples received and queued for testing" e-mail on May 19. The kit was sent to a Eurofins lab in the Netherlands, although I'd read somewhere that Living DNA's testing was done in Denmark. I don't know if the e-mail means that it was at the testing lab already, or if it still had to be forwarded; either way, I was quite pleased with the turnaround time. [Incidentally, it took 14 days - 10 business days - from the time I ordered a test online until it showed up in my mailbox, well within the timeframe the company gives for non-UK/non-US customers.] I had wanted to get a tracking number when I sent the kit back, but Canada Post doesn't offer that when the return shipping is already prepaid; it would have cost me CDN$40 for shipping and tracking, so I decided to take my chances. Happily, it all worked out!
