The attachment restrictions on Anthrogenica Forum (AGF) have been currently set to the following -



.bmp image upload disabled (outdated storage-heavy format that has largely been replaced by .png)
Image resizing disabled (none of your attached images will be modified to fit any pre-set limit)
Global size limit 100KB (applies to all image & text formats, .zip)


As is standard forum practice, we encourage our users to limit the number of attachments they place on AGF to preserve storage space with external services (Imageshack, TinyPic, PostImage, SendSpace, 2shared).

Ilmari,

The changes outlined above only affect attachments made on public posts or private messages.

For member Avatars and Profile Pictures, we have implemented a 64.0kB size restriction. The .bmp format disabling does not come into play there either.

I have sent you a PM regarding what I suspect may be going on.
