Hello to all of you ! I am trying to find mitochondrial studies for Polish people, preferably a study that was done recently. I am really having a HARD time finding anything in English for the average mitochondrial DNA result for a Pole.
Thank you !

From Genetic Heritage of the Balto-Slavic Speaking Populations: A Synthesis of Autosomal, Mitochondrial and Y-Chromosomal Data (http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0135820)
https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0135820.s007 (Table C = MTDNA for East-Central Europe populations)
But mtDNa is completely unreliable to popualtion studies. Look at PCA form this dataset. Bosnia near Russia, Croatia near Estonia. Complete mess.

From this same paper PCA made of Y-DNa data (Table K - https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0135820.s007).
Looks normal isn't it?
