I've asked a moderator of a project in FTDNA to help me out regarding my Y-DNA. He notified me that I had no matches in FTDNA database so he had to run it through a predictor which was nevgen.org.

He said that I most likely belong to the subgroup PF3147 by quite a big margin.

Anyone here has any information about that subgroup?

I would appreciate any help.

Here is YFull's G-PF3147 haplotree (https://yfull.com/tree/G-PF3147/). You can see from the TMRCAs of the branches that it has expanded only very slowly, over many millennia. Or perhaps more likely: It may have expanded rapidly at some time in the distant past, but later expansions by other haplogroups have reduced it to remnants by now.

My project has two members confirmed to belong to G-PF3147: one of Ukrainian patrilineage, the other Moldovan (and perhaps Ashkenazi Jewish).

Thanks. I am sorry I am not an expert in this. How can I get more specific information about the specificity of my HG? I feel that it's very general. For some reason I am not allowed to post screenshots to get more info, but maybe this could help?

Can you give us your FTDNA kit number, and the name of a project to which you belong--so that we can take a look at your haplotype (marker pattern)?

Is it alright to post the FTDNA kit number publicly?

Maybe it's a better idea to PM you.
