If you happen to come across my maternal haplogroup, please share -- I'd greatly appreciate it!
I've only been able to find 8 instances of L3x2b in the past two and half years.
L3x2b - Point Distribution Map (July, 2017)

Shown on Map:
Algeria
North Gaza (الشمالخة - غزة)
Sudan - Darfur (Masalit) *identified in a research paper as L3x2; could be either the basal clade, L3x2b/a or an unidentified subclade*
Uganda - West Nile Region
Not shown on Map:
Spain - Galacia
Spain - Asturias
Trinidad and Tobago
USA (African-American)
I don't know if there's any merit to this but I thought I'd plot a centroid region to the distribution map which at the moment seems to fall within N/Western Sudan, Southern Libya and N/Eastern Chad -- not exactly the most peaceful regions in recent decades.
Apart from Africa being generally under-surveyed, I wonder if armed conflicts in the afmd "centroid" region might also be a major factor for L3x2b's lack of detection. It's complete absence in genetic research papers for the region (Sudanese/Ugandan/Chadian etc) makes me wonder if it'll one day be detected at low to moderate levels in an oasis within the proposed centroid region.
