I know from other posts U106 is found in Finland, including my own Z326.
Some of my Big Y matches and matches elsewhere appear to have Finnish surnames. I was just wondering when and how this happened in terms of peoples and migrations? John

Perhaps it has something to do with Swedish-speaking populations migrating into Finland? In the middle ages the Swedes did crusade and settle in parts of Finland to some degree.

A very interesting deduction. I too have a Finnish Y-DNA 37 marker match for a Christoffer, Christofferson Grundis dating back to the 1600s. Many of the persons indicated in the extensive family tree of Grundis were born in Sweden and died there. The connection may date earlier than the middle ages as Sweden consisted of a significant portion of Finland in around AD 800 -1000.
