View Full Version : mtDNA Haplogroup C4c1a in Cherokee

I have a mtDNA result of C4c1a in a known Cherokee female line. The earliest known ancestress lived in what is now east Tennessee. She has a number of matches, mostly from eastern Oklahoma, where the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma are concentrated. Anyone else have this mtDNA result?
