My mtDNA hg is H67. Coding region matches at FTDNA list Ireland , Scotland UK and US. Eupedia http://www.eupedia.com/europe/Haplogroup_H_mtDNA.shtml says "H67: found in Scotland"

However I found this re Basque mtDNA which mentions a singleton H67 for Bigorre, Gascony http://forwhattheywereweare.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/basque-mtdna.html . According to Wikipedia "Gascony was historically inhabited by Basque-related people who appear to have spoken a language similar to Basque"

Probably just an interesting coincidence but I note that nMonte gives me : French Basque 4 occurrences -punt k13 = 15%, Dodecad v3= 10.55 %,Eurogenes k15= 6.2%, Eurogenes k 13= 1.7%

K36 23andMe gives me 2.22 Basque with 15.4- chr 5, 11.4-chr 19, 13.9-chr 20, 10.6-chr 22,(amounts over 10%)
k36 FTDNA gives me 2.07 Basque with 19.0-chr 5, 11.3- chr 19, 13.4- chr 20, (amounts over 10%)
