The Yfull team analysis of the 1000 genome samples are invaluable additions especially for the south asian population where commercial testing is only on low level .
The subclades of the J2 found in south asians was much of a mystery and i have wondered whether it is similar to west asians .the following link have the analysed J2 samples list
http://www.yfull.com/tree/J2/
Good amount J2a samples belongs to J-PF5197 which is a brother clade to the big J-L24 clade .
3 samples belong to J-F312 which is a subclade of previously known J-M68 which seems restricted to south asia (?) . Few samples belong L25 clade too .
The PJL have some recently introduced subclades from west asia like J-M67 .
The case of J2b2 is intresting . The south asians (Z2432) sits on a completely different branch with respect to european one(L283) .So it could be older branch which made way to south asia and got isolated there ,though we need some samples in between (some iranians or central asians ) .
Guys with more expertize in this please chime in with your views
