In Europedia description of M423, L161, The oldest known I2a1b-L161.1 individuals are the 8,000 year-old Loschbour man from Mesolithic Luxembourg, and a 7,800 year-old man from Motala in southern Sweden.

I understood that these were L161- Any links to the change?

ESP24 ( 4502 BP), and TROC5 (6249BP) from Saxony and the Pyrenees were already analysed to be L161+

Thanks,

Thanks,

You really shouldn't trust Eupedia, Loschbour has been confirmed long time ago as I2-M423* (as you can see on Yfull tree: https://www.yfull.com/tree/I-M423/ ). He's not only L621- and L161.1-, but also Y3104- (parent branch of these two).
