Online tools for the translation of a Japanese academic article?

I am trying to find a online tool for the translation of a academic article in Japanese. I have tried Google translate (both of the text itself and of a pdf version of the entire article), but the results are too problematic for me to use it in any academic context.

so I thought I would ask if anyone here are aware of a functioning online tool, for the translation of foreign texts?

Alternatively I might have to get in contact with a Japanese speaking person, and offer some money in exchange for a translation of the document in question..

Though I would bump this thread and ask if anyone who speaks Japanese would be willing to help me out with an article in Japanese? I dont really need a full translation, just the relevant parts of the document in question. I will of course pay for any translation, partial or not..

I think Google translate can help 60-70 percent for translating the word.
