View Full Version : FTDNA confirmed E-V12*, however odd result with 23andme SNPs.
So I ran through my 23andme data through Morley Ydna predictor, and this is the result I got. E-V12* was second likely. What you guys think? What is this E1b1b1a1b5?

Thats M35.2, that ISOGG tree seems to be outdated, M35.2 is E1b1b1a1b1a3~
https://isogg.org/tree/ISOGG_HapgrpE.html
It's a subbranch of E-V13 with a back mutation.
E-V12 is a different haplogroup entirely, If FTDNA confirmed you E-V12 (SNP Testing), it's the right one. Morley is what it is, a predictor.
Oh and btw, V12 is more fit for a jew than v13 :nerd:

Right. FTDNA and 23andme confirmed as E-V12*. Impossible to be any branch of V13.

go with ftdna :)
in the mean time e-v12 clusters from e3b haplozone

Yes I belong to E-V12-mi. Members in this cluster are confirmed or predicted to be in subclade E1b1b1a1a*, but currently do not match up with a well-defined cluster within this subclade. More clusters may be broken out later, as we get new members and discover new connections.

thats very cool
you know i think e-v12 as also a british cluster
some e-v12 clusters are europeans :)

interesting result; how accurate is morley y-dna predictor?? andhow can screenshot my predictor the sameway you did?

My paternal line is from Muro Lucano, Potenza, Italy. Very old line. Most likely left Egypt and crossed the Mediterranean.
