This preprint looking at the population structure of Ireland offers similar regional insights to the POBI data used by Living DNA. If they could access it, perhaps they could clear up the problems with Irish DNA being under reported, without them having to continue with their own work in that direction. I wonder if there's any chance of that happening...

This was based on the Irish DNA Atlas samples. There was two papers that came out by two different teams. This particular paper was written by Prof Dan Bradley and Lara M Cassidy who were both involved in the paper about Rathlin that came out about 2 years ago.

They are both great reads.

Actually upon further reading the above paper utilised more samples than the Irish DNA Atlas.
