Norfolk, congratulations on your color change, well deserved. It seems wegene is overestimating Neanderthal between 2 to 3 times.

Geno 2 1.2%
23&Me. 290 variants @ 70%
Wegene. 3.726% @ 96.99%
Helix Geno 2. 1.5%

Just as autosomal results vary with each testing company, it is apparent Neanderthal results do as well.
The autosomal results between the two Geno 2 vary greatly as well. 97% Scot/Irish vs. Geno 2 Helix 83% Danish/Norwegian. Spin the wheel again, I feel very Latin. Wegene spin, 26.97% Spanish as number one population. Humor aside, through various testing companies, my number one population varies throughout Northwestern Europe. Again reiterating the difficulty of separating populations with such close proximity.

95.33%, 81.94%, 96.99% for NW-Europeans vs definite lower 35.64% for me Eastern European.

I wonder if pattern Germanic and Celtic people showing highest continuity Neanderthal genetics would continue with more variety of samples.

Neanderthal ratio: 2.901%
More than 54.35%

23andme gives me very different and extreme results with less than 97% of customers.

Wegenes is obviously overestimating Neanderthal ancestry but unlike 23andme I get less extreme results compared to others.

I got 2.826% Neanderthal from my Ancestry DNA upload according to Wegene, which they say is "more than 48.67% of WeGene users." Using 23andMe raw data, it says "2.546%
More than 28.15% of WeGene users". 23andMe has me at more Neanderthal variants than 58% of 23andMe customers. However, your Neanderthal ancestry accounts for less than 4% of your overall DNA."

3.038% from Ancestry autosomal upload. I haven't looked anywhere else.

Yes, I know this is an old thread, but I chose to add to it rather than start a new one. Cheers, Stone

1.2%, is that around 200 variants, because I got around 200 for 23andMe.
