Is the video of a tiger hunting its prey or a human murdering a tiger?

The footage looks like king Mahendra was hunting at Chitwan National Park. Tiger hunting was banned in 1972.

Latter. It’s sad to watch yet looking at the manner the hunt was performed is interesting.

A lot worse is happening in the far east with Chinese hunting Amur tigers for traditional medicine. Russians hunt them too selling them to Chinese. A dead tiger cost a lot of money on black market. Amur Leopard is virtually non-existent. Between 19-26 remain in wildlife . Around 60 in Russia and China.

From what I've last heard, their populations had stopped decreasing and were on a steady rise.

First their numbers were dropped in the last 50-60 years. Thanks conservation programs in which top government officials are involved their numbers began to increase. Amur leopard is critically endangered.
