Has anyone had them both done and run the raw data through admixture calculators? Were the results 100% identical?

My results come out very similar to each other, but definitely not 100% identical.

One of my ftdna family finder matches has uploaded his 23and me data in gedmatch . And he is not showing up in my matches list . I dont know whether it is due to some glitch in gedmatch .

To be honest, the results for me were identical. Not even a 1% difference for even one component.

It would depend on what populations and what subset of SNPs the various admixture calculators are using. The 23andMe v3 chip retains more of the set of v2 SNPs that were originally analyzed for the ~ 50 populations in the Human Genome Diversity Project. I believe some calculators cut down the number of SNPs to a common core, but I'm not sure about that. It's also possible that no-calls would affect the results slightly.

For MDLP World - 22

Top score is for my 23andMe data, second score is for my FTDNA data, the differences are tiny:

Hi ilmari,

This must be some kind of issue with the MDLP World-22 calculator. My results for HarappaWorld using both 23andMe, and FTDNA raw-data.

23andMe (Rounded):
Baloch=36%
South Indian=22%
Caucasian=19%
Northeast Euro=12%
Southwest Asian=4%
Siberian=2%
Beringian=2%
American=1%
NE Asian=1%
Papuan=1%

FTDNA (Rounded)
Baloch=36%
South Indian=22%
Caucasian=19%
Northeast Euro=12%
Southwest Asian=4%
Siberian=2%
Beringian=2%
American=1%
NE Asian=1%
Papuan=1%

Absolutely identical. I rounded the numbers, but the raw percentages are exactly the same. Not even a single difference (this is based on the DIY calculator, my official results are somewhat different).
