That represents a refinement and gets you a little further downstream from MC21, like this:

MC21>FGC36628>FGC36627

Like me and my bunch, you are below FGC5572 (Y8426 on YFull's tree).

Just reposting what I put on the Df41 project:

If you look at your 'BigY Matches' you see that you have a match with a kit at FGC36627 bearing the surname Edwards. It would strike me that this kit holder (who only shows up as a match at 12 STR's) just did the BigY test and got a result.

As a result FTDNA have refined your haplogroup to reflect shared SNP's with that kit holder.

Thanks, yes the Edwards Bug Y has also being showing up as a MC21 match for me for quite a few months, and he has also changed , I wonder what caused the refinement of both of us

Something similar just happened in my little group to folks with the surname Webb. Evidently, FTDNA is getting out in front on this stuff now.
