A scenario of Jewish history as Northern Fertile crescent aborigines/Aryans, moving down and mixing with the local Canaanites, then culminating in the diaspora and wife-taking in their various destinations seems pretty great to me.

Thoughts? What about Ashkenazi Y DNA patterns, which are more orientated toward the Northern Fertile crescent than other Western Jews - which phenotypically could perhaps be seen in a stronger Armenoid strain?

I think it's a plausible hypothesis, personally.
