Doug has been swamped with recent requests to run BGA's on 23andme data and he has upgraded his method and use of additional populations.

My Spot on the Map Plot's Red and Green dots now plot on the Wales and Southwest England. Doug states that 'The green spot represent the average location of all ancestry' if one is basically 'European, Mideast, and sometimes South Asian ancestry it is usually quite accurate as far as their average ancestry.' My Blue dot is located in the Middle East. Those with Southern European will show some Mideastern spots without having recent ancestry from the Mideast. I show some Southern European in some other BGA's. I do have known Dutch maternal side ancestry back to my GGreat Grandparents with some deeper H11a2 Romanian core aDNA.

Doug advised my custom mixtures fits are:

English 0.2525 Irish 0.5155 Germany 0.1886 Adygei 0.0434 or

English 0.2934 Irish 0.5936 Belorus 0.0664 Georgian 0.0466 or

English 0.4056 Irish 0.4692 Belorus 0.0783 Adygei 0.0469 or

English 0.4057 Irish 0.4572 Poland 0.0907 Adygei 0.0463 or

English 0.1694 Irish 0.6258 Germany 0.1612 Georgian 0.0436

Doug said, "Also there is 0.4% Native American and 0.3% African, both very real." NA is from maternal side and the African is from my paternal side which appears to be an exact segment match with my adna 3rd cousin which is from her fathers line who's surname is the same rare one as my Isle of man Ydna GD8/111 match. I utilize my six half maternal sibling as a proxy for determining whether my matches are paternal or maternal. More details to follow soon.

Yeah. I figured that was the case. Sent an email with a kind request for an analysis a few weeks back. Never heard back.

I have not received a response for a request sent to Dr. McDonald a month ago. It would have been nice to have his expert analysis. However, till he has more time Gedmatch makes Dodecad’s “World 9” available to non-experts like myself.
