Would somebody with Kashubian ancestry have a fair amount of Scandinavian and Finland/NW Russian (5-15% of one or both) - in addition to the obvious Europe East- if they have Kashubian ancestry? I am only 1/4 Kashubian, so my numbers at Ancestry are diminished but still run around 10% Scandinavian and 5% Finland/ W Russian. Thanks for any comments and observations that are forthcoming.

Kashubians are basically Poles. What are your remaining 75 percent? Maybe you got that from another source.

Of my remaining heritage, it is roughly 25% German, 25% Irish, 12.5% British and 12.5% Italian. My mother has tested at Ancestry. She has 0% Europe East, 0% Finland/Nw Russian and 2% Scandinavian. She is basically 50% German and 50% Irish/British. My father was 25% Irish/Welsh and 25% Italian and the 50% Kashubian.

British people have a good amount of Scandinavian. Also, various NW European clusters are oftentimes confused, which means instead of Scandinavian one gets Europe West and vice versa.
