Is there a way I can upload 23andme to my heritage? Right now it's not accepting it. Any converters to get it in the right format?

I was hoping they would accept the V5.

I asked this a few months ago and their response was basically it will happen but not yet and they didnít know when. I stopped holding my breath.

I uploaded in the early spring. Still nothing. I sent a email once and they responded that the results should be ready in one month.
That was like 7 months ago..

It took them 3 weeks before I got my results. I uploaded from 23 and me. After 10 days I called them and said they would notify the tech people about it. The tech people contacted me a few days later in email. Told me they couldn't receive my 23 and me because it was a V5. They said it should be a few months or more.

Last night I went on my Myheritage App and checked the ethnicity dna and I had results ready. Lol

The weird thing is it says my matches aren't ready yet. The weirdest thing is when I visit the website and try to look at my dna on there it says my ethnicity estimate is not ready. Weird

Hrm... Well now my 23andMe v5 kit upload there says "in progress - results expected in 1-2 days". Been a while since the last time I looked, but I think that's a different status message than what it originally said.

They now accept 23andMe V5 kits on MyHeritage. My mother's results show. Very similar (inaccurate) interpretation as her FamilyTreeDNA upload.

mine are up as well. Ancestry upload and My Heritage swab are very close, the 23 and me not as.

Just uploaded some 23andme V5 results for myself and my parents. We'll see what happens next. 23andme V5's imputed raw data is kinda temperamental, as we've seen in numerous nMonte runs.

I had uploaded my 23andMe V5 to MyHeritage months ago and forgot about it. Just checked and the results are in! Actually, very similar to the results I got from my AncestryDNA upload, a little more accurate even. I am surprised by this because I know the V5 chip has been a challenge for other companies to interpret. My Gedmatch Genesis upload using V5 data resulted in a loss of accuracy I believe.

Hmm, you really lost Eastern Euro and gained NW Euro with the V5 upload..

Not a fan of it so far.

Iím still trying to sort that out. Every place says I have 10-17%, and I have a Hungarian 5th grandfather but even 12% seems suspicious.

Finally got the results for my 23andMe v5 upload:

53.8% North & West European
12.7% Scandinavian
33.5% East European

Still seems off to me.

Maybe they took a chunk of your German ancestry and interpreted it as Eastern Euro and Scandinavian?

Or the Scandinavian is coming from Mom's Colonial American British Isles heritage.
