But what a pity that this sample has so many no calls, anyway only T1189N, A10398N and A10550N in known mutations of this haplogroup, but it has 3 mutations not found before so far: A6254G T9233C C12537T .

Why is it that in these new( 200+ ), Raule findings placed by Ian logan, that only Italy and Scandinavian are present. Is there a tie.

There are plenty of just plain H.......maybe the link is celtic Central and southern Germany, ....I do not know

I'm sorry I don't understand this answer unfortunately - I am asking what approximate year is this sample from this individual was i.e. 920 AD? I'm a bit of a novice and don't know much about these things when they are expressed this way - but thank you for your reply.

I am a K1a1b1a

I checked for K1a1b1a's on my mother's GEDmatch 'X one-to-many' list. She is H5, but she has X-connections to three K1a1b1a's and also three K1a1b1's. What is unusual about her X-chromosome is that a match just about anywhere on that chromosome indicates as a common ancestor a male in 18th Century North Carolina who was a breeder in a human trafficking ring. Given the triangulations with the K1a1b1a's, that is likely a haplogroup of at least one of the enslaved women. The female offspring when old enough generally were sold as brides. A lot of people have that person as a common ancestor.

Hi 'K' folks.:)
Here is my genetic signature for K1a1b1 (results from DNA Worldwide which I have typed in):

195T 247G 497T 769G 794A 825T 1018G 1189C 1811G 2758G 2885T 3480G 3594C 4104A 4312C 7256C 7521G 8468C 8655C 8701A 9055A 9233C 9540T 9698C 10550G 10688G 10810T 10873T 11299C 11467G 11470G 12308G 12372A 12705C 13105A 13276A 13506C 13650C 13830C 13973T 14167T 14798C 15924G 16129G 16230A 16278C

This is from the book I received from DNA Worldwide.

I have seen ancient K1a1b1 found in Denmark, England and Spain (Basque area?) on another thread. Can anybody spot any similarities of interest here? (fingers crossed!)
Thanks.
Gary.
