Hi everyone,
Just got my dad's results back from LivingDNA and they have come back a little surprising! It's saying he is 98.2% British Isles and 1.8% Asia South Pashtun (which wasn't expected!). I was just wondering if the Pashtun part could be related to shared ancient DNA with the modern day Pashtun people, or if the databases/algorithms used by LivingDNA aren't as developed as they may be in the future and he might end up being reclassified at some point? Just out of interest my results came back as 93.1% British Isles 6.9% Scandinavia, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
