When it comes to J2a, PF5119 represents a large branch with various subclades and lineages that everyone is somewhat familiar with.

The age of PF5119 is estimated to be at 14200 ybp according to Yfull's tree and based on various basal clades and upper branches the area in which they were living was somewhere around Kuwait/Iraq/Khuzestan (province of Iran).

Immediately PF5119 separates into L558 (14200 ybp) and Z6065 (13200 ybp), from which L558 separates into 2 branches Y5014 (13000 ybp) and M67 (12300 ybp).

Since this was the time during the Paleolithic and they were still hunter gathers, we can assume they were tribal and further splits happened, and the Culture they should correspond with was the Zarzian Culture.

Z6065 splits

Y13341 (11100 ybp)
Z7687 (12800 ybp)

Y5014 splits

Y8344 (5100 ybp)
M319 (11700 ybp)

Z1847 splits

Y4036 (12100 ybp)
Z500 (11100 ybp)
Z7671 (12300 ybp)

Then as we go further

Y13341>Z7515 (10800 ybp) splits

Z7509 (6900 ybp)
FGC15895 (9400 ybp)

Z7687 splits

Y9268 (9200 ybp)
M47 (4700 ybp)

M319 splits

S17259 (9900 ybp)
Z17221 (10500 ybp)>Y5009 (6500 ybp)
Y16819 (4300 ybp)
Y21862 (5000 ybp)

Y4036 splits

Z28547 (11300 ybp)
Z467 (12000 ybp)

Z500 splits

Y6240 (9200 ybp)>PF7394 (8400 ybp)
M92 (7500 ybp)

Z7671 splits

CTS900 (8900 ybp)>Y3020 (8200 ybp)
Y2639 (3100 ybp)

Again further splits

Z467 splits

FGC45722 (10600 ybp)
S11842 (10000 ybp) it further splits into Z6271 (5700 ybp) and Y15913 (3300 ybp)
L210 (5200 ybp)

M92 splits

PF7412 (7000 ybp) it further splits into SK1344 (6100 ybp) and Z515 (6600 ybp)
Z8096 (6000 ybp)

Y3020 splits

Y11200 (7900 ybp)
CTS6804 (7700 ybp)

In terms of ancient dna from PF5119 we have 2x M319 found in Minoans, 2x Z6271 in Bronze Age Anatolia, 1x Y37496 in Bronze Age Anatolia and we have BR2 which is Y17946 in late Bronze Age Hungary.

The point of all this is that I want to start a discussion on the branches and splits and see if any visible pattern can be made. It is also curious to note that some branches split significantly while others had severe bottlenecks.

Concentration of J branches between 15000-12000 ybp usually are associated with Northern Middle Eastern distributions and they could survive with the posterior advent of agriculture in those regions.

Absolutely but the question is to which and where did these branches expand, what Neolithic Cultures, which Chalcolithic Cultures, Bronze Age, etc... can we see a pattern with certain branches.
