View Full Version : U2D in Europe

My father recently tested on 23andME, came back with a fairly rare mtDNA for Europe, U2D.
South Asian subclades of U2, namely U2a, U2b and U2c, differ from the ..Central Asian U2d and European U2e.
Seems U2e is more common in Europe then U2d, might need to get a deeper testing to get other markers, either U2d1, U2d2, or U2d3. Anybody else with European ancestry with U2d mtDNA?
