i only got a little but my dad got 16.2% on myheritage now does this mean we likely have an ancestor who is from the iran/iraq area? Or do other jewish groups tend to to get high numbers in this? He also got 30 % sephardic but i dont think thats completely accurate. i mean that shows there is some sephardic there but i dont think its really that high. My dad's family is romaniote jewish from greece and its possible of some intermarriage between Romaniote and Sephardi.

My wife who is Turkish get this as well (20%), so I suspect it is common in the wider Levant-Anatolia area and is not restricted to Jews...

There was an Israeli Muslim of fully Arab ancestry here who got 16% Mizrahi. There's particular overlap between Arab Jews and gentiles because many Jews converted to Islam or Christianity and married into the gentile population. In fact, the population genetically closest to Arab Jews are Palestinians.

I got something like 15% Mizrahi while my Turkish father got 0% Mizrahi. I believe Mizrahi in this case is referring to Assyrians and Armenians.
