View Full Version : Semantics (for the lack of a better term)

I am convinced that the I y-haplogroup, was rubbing elbows with the Neanderthals in Europe before the LGM. Meanwhile, the R1's were still wandering around in Russia.

I find it surreal, the notion of an 'invasion' by Germanic Tribes. I concede by definition it was an "invasion", and 'reconquest' isn't really applicable. Yes, I'll concede that "German" was a Roman label for a people well ensconced in Europe, long before Rome existed. Is there a better term?

Just commenting. Testing the water. Checking to see if it's a unique thought.

Can't tell what the thought actually is, to be honest.
