I did my 23andMe thing and was just uploading it to everything because I was curious and can lol
I don't know my birth father, but I don't have South Asia on 23andMe and was wondering what it might be apart of.
WeGene says Hungarian and French which neither is actually in my dna when done through Gedmatch, but they're closest to the European I get on 23andMe.
I'm just curious what population South Asia is acting as in my WeGene results.
And I know WeGene is primarily for Asians, but I was just goofing off when this struck me.

Here are my 23andMe results:

I also think the Inuit is acting as Siberian or something along those lines since I am part Native American.

I am Ashkenazi and Wegene gives me and my family all about 10% S. Asian, which just shows that they are overestimating it.

Wegene has a tendency to give pred. Euro users some South Asian. While in my case my South Asian ancestry is legitimate, in most cases it isn't or it's misread Steppe input from millenia ago.
