Don't miss Gamla Uppsala (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamla_Uppsala) (read also through to the end Temple at Uppsala (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_at_Uppsala)), site of the Ynglings (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yngling). I've friends in the area I haven't spoken with enough for ages.

Thanks. In fact I visited Gamle Upsalla 25 years ago. In fact, it was my main priority, so as soon as I arrived at Arlanda airport, I took the bus to Gamla Upsalla. I didn’t even book a hotel. Luckily I happened on a house at 9PM as I wandered around the countryside in September and it turned out to be an old university professor couple who also moonlighted as bed and breakfast hosts,

Fantastic! As it happens my family and I are working on a visit to Nanjing (and the University), Suzhou and possibly metropolitan Shanghai hopefully next year or next.
