I figured someone ought to create a thread for X2b. Is anyone else here in that group?

My paternal grandfather was an X2b based on a test of his sister's daughter (my first cousin once removed). I have his maternal line back to Connecticut in the 1700s. It's likely (but not confirmed) that it came from England.

It was used to test the daughters of William Beauchamp (d. 1836) and Sarah Parker (d. about 1810). From there it goes back to Somerset Co., MD very early in its days. So I'm only 200 years removed from it but interested still.

I’m x2b5 ..and it seemes like all the people I have found in my country, with this, has the same mothers line as I do ( or with the one we think its her sister, because they lived near, used to mingle and to be godparents to eachother children)

We dont find anything about the ones that lived before 1630 or so, in that line.
