Hi all,

I took the Y-DNA 67 test of Familytreedna, and got my result recently.
I am still a beginner in that field and don't understand everything, this is why I am seeking your help

My Haplogroup is apparently R-M198 (it is "presumed positive"). I don't understand all the details the site is showing, nor what I can understand from it...

can someone help me?

I am from Gilan-Iran, I am then supposed to be gilaki but I don't know anything else. What can my haplogroup tell me about my origins?

Have you joined the R1a and subclades project (here at https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/r-1a/about/background)? The administrators can help you interpret your results. Additionally, a screenshot of your matches (removing personal names) can also help you determine your subclade and origins.
