Anybody here under FGC33621? This is the clade that the Albanian Berisha & Sopi tribe belong to, and it seems to have sporadic cousins in western europe within the last 2000-3000 years.
I am curious to know if those British, Irish, German, etc samples have any traditions of being roman or celtic or saxon, etc. Any such information to start getting a clearer picture.
The Berisha tribe is the oldest yet documented Albanian tribe, a citizen of Ulqin, Montenegro with the name Berissa noted in Ragusan chronicle in 1242.
In Albanian history, a fis is a community aware of blood-ties and common history back to an ancestor, that usually lived by the Kanun, strict communal law inherited from antiquity that many times was respected above christian/muslim law.
