Dear all,
This is somewhat off-topic, but I thought you might be able to shed some light on an inscription stamped onto the side of a pot gifted to me in Kazakhstan some years ago. Before the Kazakhs adopted Cyrillic alphabet they used Arabic. Some Persian inscriptions have also been found in South Kazakhstan, I seem to recall.
Would anyone be able to provide a translation, or if not a translation (it could be Kazakh underlying the text), a transliteration?
