Hi, so for my whole life I've known that I'm 100% Ashkenazi Jewish and don't have any recent gentile ancestors. I took an AncestryDNA Test, which confirmed what I've known myself to be: 100% Ashkenazi Jewish.

32970

I also put my results into Eurogenes' JTest, and received these results. According to the creator of the calculator, anything around or above 25% Ashkenazi is indicative of full Ashkenazi ancestry.32971

HOWEVER, for my DNA.Land results, I got this:
32972
32973

I'm very confused, because 77% Ashkenazi ancestry is much different than the 100% given by AncestryDNA and GEDMatch. I also read that DNA.Land has a tendency to overestimate Ashkenazi ancestry. I don't know what to make of these results, can someone please help me?

Every test is a little bit different. Some would say any result that is 100% of one thing is an "overfit" and not actually very useful at explaining your ancestry compared to breaking it down into smaller components. If you have a paper trail AND several different testing services say you are Ashkenazi Jewish, then you almost certainly are.

First, don't be a retard and remove your name from the last image.

I received 100% European Jewish on AncestryDNA, Ashkenazi score of 27.51 on the JTest, and 76% Ashkenazi on DNA.LAND. The only reason DNA.LAND seems like it overestimates Ashkenazi is because it's garbage all around and assigns it to those who aren't Ashkenazi. Granted, you have the 2nd lowest Ashkenazi score on DNA.LAND I've seen - mine being the lowest. This is probably because we're outliers to the Ashkenazi gene pool. Have you uploaded elsewhere?

Like Greekscholar said, tests that break your ancestry down a bit more can be more interesting and helpful. That said, I wouldn't put much stock in DNA.land. While they actually gave me a similar Ashkenazi percentage to most other services, at 32%, they also gave me a huge percentage of Balkan and Italian, which, if I add it all up, somehow must come largely from my father's side and not just from my Jewish ancestry. Given that my father's background is totally NW European and he never gets anything other than a trace percent outside NW Europe in any other test, that seems highly unusual to me.

I uploaded both my 23andme kit and my MyHeritage one to DNA.land and got different percentages. 23andme returned 99% AJ and MyHeritage returned 85% AJ. Even MyHeritage didn't change my results so drastically when I uploaded my 23andme kit, which really says something about the quality of DNA.land....

My mom is half and DNA land puts hers at about 30% Mediterranean Islander and 20% Ashkenazi. Like everyone above said, each calculator is different. Sometimes I consider them clues and other times just more confusion. ;)

DNA Land is pretty hit or miss. Some uploads are more accurate than others.

More than likely you're 100% Ashkenazi, or 99.9% Ashkenazi with a Sephardic ancestor somewhere way down the line.
