Is there any history of South Asian settlement in the Phillipines? If not, more than likely it's proto-Austronesian, especially if it disappears at high confidence levels.

There were christians of South Asian origin in e.g. the Dutch East Indies (e.g. these people (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mardijker_people)), not sure if any of them did also lived in the Philippines.
