Could someone who's tested with livingdna V2 confirm how many snps are used when they run eurogenes k13/15? Thanks.

when did they implement V2?

K13 = 182520

Eurogenes EUtest V2 K15 Admixture Proportions = 184526

Didn't you test early on on the Orion chip Solothurn??

when did they implement V2?
Not that long ago, it's called Sirius. I know Robert1 has it.

I think thats higher than ancestrydna in terms of snps? Or very close.

Sorry Ayetooey. I am a muppet :embarrassed: I didn’t pick my LivingDNA kit so SNPs are significantly lower when I did.

K13 = 58830
EUTest V2 K15 = 59600

LivingDNA say I added my results 03/27/2019 but did it way before that :\

Oh damn. Is this the V1 chip or the newer chip?

Seems a real struggle to find someone who's tested on this new Sirius chip. :confused:

Sorry Ayetooey, my kit was soon after their launch so probably V1 :behindsofa:

You should PM Robert1. I know that he has it, but has not noticed the thread.

Answered in the PM but I'll paste my reply here, too.
Thanks for leading me back to the watering hole, Sktibo! :beerchug:

Sure, no problem, Ayetooey, and I'll include the kit # (MU7686141) if you want to compare against it.

Anyway: 132871 SNPs used in this evaluation so kinda puny, I would have expected more. My AncestryDNA chip V1 (A125569) "used 177199 SNPs used in this evaluation"

Wow, the original V1 chip/Orion results (Solothurn) ARE puny - K13 = 58830 while my V2 chip/Sirius K13 SNPs are 132871

No, no, no Solothurn isn't puny! just Orion! :biggrin1:

looks like v2 offers a decent improvement in coverage. too bad Living DNA isn't making it worthwhile to upgrade.
