Hi guys; I have noticed that the DYS391=12 marker is very rare in the Y-haplogroup R1b. The few people R1b that I have found with this marker seem to belong in all cases to subclate L21, characteristic of Atlantic Europe.

Is DYS391=12 only characteristic of L21 or does it exist in other R1b subclades?

DF19s have 10, 11 and 12. They are mostly 10 and 11, but 12s are there, too:

But in none of these cases does DYS385=10-15 exist. The question is asked by a boy who, in addition to having DYS391=12, has DYS385=10-15. Is this also possible in DF19?

Our DYS391=12
We are DYS385=11-14
R-P312/S116 > Z290 > L21/S145 > DF13 > FGC5494 > FGC5561 > FGC7448 > FGC5496 > FGC5521 > FGC5549 > FGC5511 is our progression.
I cannot speak to DF19 Roderico...
