Interesting CTS4466+ Result

Today, Whalen #295333 was confirmed CTS4466+. He was already Z253- which had been a big surprise at the time. His CTS4466+ is very interesting as he has many of the off-modal markers for L1066. The Ireland yDNA Project decided to test him for CTS4466 as he had some distant matches with people at 67 markers, who were CTS4466+.

f295333 Whelan does seem to be out there on his own with his 426=13 437=14 and 385=12,15. His closest GDs at 67 in the L21 hts file are these guys at GDs of 7 and 8.

They all fit nicely as Irish II/CTS4466 haplotypes. When I sorted by GD, the first 220 closest people to Whelan are all CTS4466 confirmed or suspected so I think he clearly fits.

However, within CTS4466, he's one of a kind. 426 and 437 are pretty slow and no one else is like him.

Alright well the next question is what is your surname? Some surnames obviously are 'enriched' for certain haplotypes.
