Hello:
I recently took an dna test with Myheritage, and yesterday I received the results. I've been looking at the raw and I see that on the Y chromosome (which I'm not supposed to have because I'm a woman) there are some empty genes and others with letters. Is that normal or is that a myheritage error?
Here's an example of what you can see in the raw:

It is absolutely normal, so do not worry.
It is much less than should be for a man.

Thank you.

What you are seeing through those hyphens is called a "no-call" (https://isogg.org/wiki/No_call). Yes, that's normal, as autosomal tests look at a sequence of your genome. If for whatever reason that's not enough and you want a full sequence, then you need to look into whole genome sequencing.

It is called the PAR segment of the pseudo-Y.
Dont worry, it is pretty normal. This happens because the genochips mistake this area as it is pretty similar from Y chromosome.
