So this person gets:
51.8East Balkans
22.7 Northeast Europe
15.9 Aegean ( the person has ancestors from some parts of Greek Macedonia)
7.5 Near East .

Are these typical Bulgarian results? I guess they are because I saw another member with high Northeast Europe who was BG and they just couldn’t separate Balkan from East Europe ? DNA land also gives 25 % North Slavic . I am asking because there is a missing grandparent and there are lots of Eastern Slavic ( not only Balkan) matches on My Heritage , some of them are of high ( 3-5 cousin) and medium confidence . Thanks!

About the Slavic matches - you'll get them in the results of every company you test..and not only Eastern ones but from the whole Slavdom, nothing of a surprise here...Small number of my Russian and Ukrainian matches have clearly some Bulgarian ancestry (XIXc. settlers).

To take this company seriously. Is like take your data upload to some site run calculator and think thats your real ethnic background. They still have long way to become serious Dna company. But for British people they are pretty good + their site very easy to use.

I've heard from other members here that they are now more accurate for non-British people.

Out of all the commercial companies' tests, OP, LivingDNA was the most accurate for me, I like that they focus on geographical regions rather than making up ethnic group categories that they pull out of a hat.

Still, all of those commercial companies' calculators don't hold up very well against Eurogenes G25 and the likes.
