Have you submitted your uncle's kit to the O project at FTDNA?

There are obviously not many Mongols from Mongolia proper tested with full Y-chromosome sequencing but I think that the Northern Chinese of more or less distant Mongolian background will still provide your uncle with decent matching.

It would be great to compare his markers with chinese matches. I know that chinese people are mainly are being tested through their own companies. On top of that turkic/mongolians has very few tests from central asia and turkmenistan. So therefore no matches for uncle even at 4 distance on ftdna for now.

The Wikipedia article on O-M175 states that the Naiman tribe of Kazakhs has high levels of O2; O-Y155291 was found in a medieval Turkic sample in Kazakhstan, which is O1, more specifically O1b1a1b1a1b1.

So I got papers from archive regarding my mothers linage. Her ancestors in 19th century mentioned that they are descendants of Changan and Ulus bey, Shado khan , and linking their forefather with Turko-Mongol nomads. Makes sense!

although it's not very sure, but the Y-STR seems to be JST002611+, I find one sample of ethnic Han from Inner Mongolia with a relatively similar Y-STR haplotype.
