With the impending closure of the Rootsweb mailing list in March, there's a new home for the mailing list for Y-DNA Haplogroup I at groups.io - no content yet, but can be found and subscribed to here: https://groups.io/g/Y-DNA-HAPLOGROUP-I
I had joined the Rootsweb one back when I first started getting interested in these topics, but by then the mailing list was well past it's heyday and had become considerably less active. It seemed to come back to life every so often with a post and a flurry of replies before going back to sleep again. Let's see how this one does.
Also a couple of others below haplogroup I, noticed there was a I-M253 one here https://groups.io/g/I-M253YDNA and also a I-Z140 one here https://groups.io/g/z140project - again, no content and not very many people subscribed so far.
I also joined the R1b-U106 list here https://groups.io/g/R1b-U106 - this seems to have a lot more content and discussion with migration from a similar list at yahoo. Brief look at the messages in that group shows Iain MacDonald posts on there and there's some discussion of his age estimation calculations, so figure that's worth following.
