Hello
What can be learn from this? History of haplogroup T looks strange: so few and so scattered and I don't find enough datas to have an idea on recent migrations?
My subclade T-Y22559.
I am mediterranean berber from Morocco (almost 70/80 % of North-Africans are E-M81).

Hi Haplo cousin (lol).
Take a look at this tree https://www.yfull.com/tree/T-Y22559/
At first glance I would've thought that you might've inherited this haplogroup from an Iberian muslim(or jewish ?) refugee that settled in North Africa given the 4 Portuguese samples, but the presence of the Lybian one might also indicate that the clade was present in North Africa prior to the Reconquista, as the TMRCA is very old (7100ybp).
May I ask you where are you from in Morocco/What is your tribe ? if that is not too nosy ?

Hello my cousin Gabriel from Djibouti :)
I am from the Rif, a distinctive region in the north of Morocco: do you know?
Thanks for the link: I have already looked at it and I do the same questionning: if it arrived in Iberia through Maghreb or inverse: i don't find studies about it.
And not enough datas for this haplogoup: is yfull the only one tool to compare and investigate?
I wonder if i should add more SNPs.
And you what is your subclade?

I do yes, I live in France so I am quite familiar with the Maghreb.
Sadly, T-M70 (and all of its descendants) is a very scarce and relatively out of interest haplogroup compared to the others. This is why it is very hard to get to know it. Maybe in a few years we’ll get to discover new things about it I hope !
I ordered Y-37 from FTDNA but I’m planning on upgrading it later to Y-111 and then BigY.
For the moment I only know that I belong to T-L208 thanks to 23andme, but I’m pretty sure I’ll get on this very branch https://www.yfull.com/tree/T-Y45591/ once my results are in.

For me, after Y12 I just added on T-M184 pack to confirm T-Y22559.
I don't know if it is worth upgrading with this lack of datas.
