Just got told I was IP banned, and then wasn't?

A few moments ago I went to the site to see that it said I was IPbanned and there was no reason listed for it at all. I wanted to see if my account had been banned so I used a VPN to Mexico and it didn't indicate anything near my username. Then I was able to log in normally.

Was this a glitch?

It has to be a glitch, this has happened to me 3 times in the past 30 minutes.
