Hi, I'm new here. I was just wondering if anyone could help me research my paternal haplogroup further. I am Southern Portuguese ancestrally and I believe I am R-L51 and the specific subclade goes straight into R-Z225 via (https://cladefinder.yseq.net/) Not too sure if that website is 100% accurate for narrowing it down. Is it?

Thanks,

Joe

Z225 is in the DF27 part of the tree, in case a Moderator wants to move this thread to that subforum. Also it has recently been found (twice) in ancient DNA. https://anthrogenica.com/showthread.php?918-Z225-(DF27-gt-Z225)-another-early-branch-of-DF27-with-an-Iberian-connection

You can find your specific branch with more tests, some are Portuguese clusters https://www.yfull.com/tree/R-Z225/
