Last update 2015 I collected this listing of DNA results with focus on (South) Tyrol:

Some older Tyrol, US Hutterite (should have origin in Carinthia), Slovak Hobans (former Hutterite) studies exist.
While I did analyze most of the Y-DNA (focus J2) years ago, NevGen did not exist. Not sure how well the predictions would be on low STR number old studies.

I used the online Predictor to check the Reutte J samples and the results seems less accurate:

i noticed the online and offline version give slightly different predictions sometimes. i think the online version is actually more up to date, it has more subclades in the database, 6 additional haplogoruop i subclades and 460 r1b subclades which aren't in the offline version at all, at least i can't find them.

I wish I knew what my Austrian-born maternal grandfather had for a Y-DNA. He was born in Steyr, Upper Austria, but I wonder about his deep lineage.

I usually bring study samples into the FTDNA format (including GATA-H4 conversion) so to use them with FTDNA kits in MODIFIED McGee's Y-Utility etc.
I need time to double check on this, seemed strange. Where did you find the info about the more subclades of the online version?

hey, sorry, i didn't see your reply until now.

if you scroll to the bottom of the Probability/Fitness chart, you can see how many references was your haplotype compared to.

for example, if you run a r1b haplotype trough the online version, "Subclades of R1b" mode, you'll see it gets compared to 511 different R1b subclades now. so it got updated since my last post.
and in the offline version, there is just a dozen basic r1b subclades and that's it.
