I made a STR67 tree of haplogroup J1 with the same tools I used previously. I tried to narrow it down to J1* individuals as good as possible.

J1 is from the Northern Fertile Crescent, not Southern Fertile Crescent.

The current frequency of J1 worldwide does not reflect the ancestral distribution. Due to the high frequency and narrow diversity of J1 haplogroups in the Arabian peninsula (almost entirely J1c3d2 L222.2+) there must have been a population explosion in the Arab community.

I didn't see anything prohibiting reposting the information on the site, and hopefully the Marres family genealogy administrator won't mind, seeing as how he used our Haplogroup G public domain data to create them and publish them on the internet.
